Landscaping, retaining walls and fencing in the Denver metro

Rock beds, stepping stone paths, grading and drainage, retaining walls and cedar fencing, from the crew that pours the slab.

Finish the yard, not only the slab

A new patio or driveway usually leaves bare dirt around its edges. We can finish that ground too: rock beds and borders, stepping stone paths, plantings and lawn areas, and the grading that moves water away from the house.

Keeping it with one crew means one schedule. The slab, the beds, the wall and the fence line all get planned together, so the grades meet and nothing gets dug up twice.

Cedar privacy fencing and gates close in the yard. Posts go in plumb and the panels are built square, so the gates still latch years from now.

The details

Water first, then looks

  1. Grade away from the house

Ground that slopes toward the foundation sends snowmelt toward the basement. Grading comes before any rock or plants go down.

  2. Rock that stays put

Fabric under the rock and a firm edge along the border keep beds from creeping into the lawn.

  3. Posts set to last

Fence posts are set deep and plumb, so the line stays straight and the gates keep latching.

Good to know

Landscaping, walls and fencing: common questions

Do you do landscaping on its own?

Yes. Many jobs pair a patio or walkway with beds and grading, and we also take on landscaping, walls and fencing as their own projects.

Do you install artificial turf?

Yes. Artificial grass for lawns, play areas and pet runs, laid over an excavated, compacted base with a drainage layer underneath.

What kind of fence do you build?

Mostly cedar privacy fencing with matching gates, plus property line fencing and replacement of failed sections.
